The Leica M series has come to represent some of the photographic world’s most respected cameras since its inception for its high-quality approach and un-paralleled results. With its first digital M series version the M8 releasing only two years ago, the German camera-maker has announced an updated version of its marquee rangefinder camera in the form of the M8.2. Although not an entirely new model, the M8.2 includes a few new features such as a new scratch-resistant LCD screen, an all new color profile, reduced audible performance noise and intuitive changes which ensure simple ease of use operation which has come to characterize the M series. In addition, any previous M series lens is fully compatible. For a full in-depth look at what the camera offers, the press release is available here.
