Science By Busta Rhymes

"If it's in your nature to be "devil" and you're acting out accordingly, then.... that's OK, because that's what you're supposed to be. But if it's in nature to be "godly" and you're acting "devil" then you're the worst kind of "Devil". Because now you can be held accountable because you understand what your nature is. And anything that one is aware of, and you choose to do other than what you know you should be doing, you know, you should definitely be held accountable... FULLY."

Eric Koston's Shoes

Eric Koston let's the people know that he STILL doesn't have a shoe sponsor (or he's just trying to keep it on the low). @ 0:53 seconds in this video you can see how he camouflages his kicks so the public can't see what he's rocking. Too bad that camouflage technique is NOT good for skating...

Net Air Yeezys

Trifecta...

Honolulu+Hennessey=Heaven

I'm out here chillin' in Paradise for a couple days, feeling GREAT!!! I just started moving into my new house in Hollywood last week, and it's just the best feeling in the world to have some sufficient space for ALL the stuff I've been collecting throughout my travels over the last 6 years. (I can't believe 6 years went by this fast.) And having a fresh spot to put all that stuff on display finally... man, I can't even explain the feeling. I literally "outgrew" my old apartment to the point where it was looking like a storage unit, lol! Over 200 pairs of sneakers, 60 skate decks, 15 complete skateboards, magazines, books, toys and just a complete "System Overload" of clothing were all jammed into my old apartment. My brother Ross is about to be the absolute freshest 21 year old in a few weeks when I ship all of these clothes to him. He wears the same shoe size as Don C. too, so you know his shoe game is gonna be super superior! HAHAHA! That's really gonna feel cool to hook him up like that, I'm gonna enjoy that!

Well yea, it's great out here, but I can't wait to get back to finish moving... Peace!

Design For A Living World

The latest Cooper-Hewitt exhibition, aptly titled Design For A Living World, combines the thoughtful material research of an environmental scientist, the sexy design aesthetics of the highest end showrooms, and the celebrity and travel itinerary of a reality TV series. Curated by Ellen Lupton and Pentagram's Abbott Miller (who also designed the exhibition catalogue and website), Design For A Living World sends renown designers, including Yves Behar and Hella Jongerius, to locations ranging from Central America to rural Idaho to explore the qualities of a natural material, then produce a design inspired by the material. The exhibition showcases this "material + design quest," documenting the entire process from cacao bean to kitchen tool (Behar) and chicle tree to vase (Jongerius). The show goes so much deeper than the usual "green materials are great" credo, combining a deep understanding of the ecologies from which we build our physical environments, with sensitive design thinking that brings the true beauty of such materials to life.

Most Expensive Car

RM Auctions and Sotheby's made history yesterday, selling a 1957 Ferrari 250 TR for $12,156,252 (€9,020,000), a new world record for most expensive car to be sold at auction.

Jalopnik said earlier this year, with only 21 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa with the Scaglietti designed pontoon fender body, chassis no. 0714TR is more rare than the 36 250 GTO's made. Add to that the very unique and quite sexy black and red paint, the great history — it was the fourth Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa built, the second customer car and is in absolutely pristine restored condition — and you've got one hot piece o' auction action.

Sure enough, yesterday when returning to its Maranello birthplace for the auction debut, the '57 Ferrari sold for €9,020,000 ($12.156 Million). That's €1,980,000 ($2.668 Million) more than the previous auction world record set at this same sale last year.

Natas Kaupas

This is part 1 of Natas Kaupas' biography. Natas is the capital O.G. x G.O.D. of street skateboarding. From the way you looked to the way you skated, he was the the guy who laid down the blueprint of what street skating is 2day.

And this is Natas' classic part from "Streets Of Fire". This part singlehandedly had all the skaters back in 1987 wanting those hi-top Elleese he's rocking.... I was definitely 1 of them.

This Natas "Kitten" board is 1 of my most favorite boards in my collection.
Signed and numbered, still in the plastic...

Stoops of Manhattan

Painter Andrew Berrien Jones casts his eye on the mid-19th century iron railings ornamenting the stoops of lower Manhattan. Twenty of Jones’ paintings are on view at the Museum of the City of New York in Stoops of Manhattan: Railings and Shadows. An important documentation of the artistry of ironwork, and a testament to Jones’ attention for shape and texture in the urban environment.

Bastard Store: Milan, Italy

studiometrico has transformed an old theater in Milan into a skateboarders dream. Their clients, Comvert produces clothing and accessories for snowboarding and skateboarding. Needing to fully integrate the administrative and design departments, along with a flagship store, studiometrico incorporated the needs of all aspects of the company into a single space. Built in 1940, the Cinema Istria had previously held a car dealership, but with this project it became fully re-concieved. The most glorious aspect of the design is a skate bowl, suspended above all the working departments.
