Damien Hirst for Supreme

By now you should be aware of the skate decks produced by Damien Hirst with Supreme. The above video has Hirst urging buyers to use the things, which given the amount of skate decks as canvas exhibitions that spring up is an admirable push. Hirst has been involved in a lot of collaborative product, and it is indeed nice to believe it is as much for love of the related activity (surfing, skating) as extending his name to new audiences. For Supreme, that extension through collaboration is obvious, and they do a remarkable job of working with artists away from the core skate community on their decks.

In any event, listen to Hirst and if you get your hand on a deck, have some fun with a great piece of art.
