LRG: Introduction to Summer 2010

Here's LRG's summer video that was shot in Hawaii a few months ago. It features G.O.O.D. Music artist Big Sean, rapper Cory Gunz and LRG Skate Team members Jack Curtin, Adelmo Jr. and Rodrigo TX rocking some of the newest summer selections from LRG.

Enjoy the scenery...

KAWS Book

You’re looking at the cover to the much anticipated KAWS Book, published by popular print house Rizzoli (who brought us the Kanye West: Glow In the Dark Tour, Supreme and Bape Book). As you can see, the familiar KAWS Companion hands based on those of Mickey Mouse make a return, though this time they have been severed from the rest of their body, presumably symbolising the hard work that has gone into KAWS’ work over the years. The KAWS Book is scheduled for released in September 2010.

Uganda Skateboard Union

"Thanks to Swiss photographer Yann Gross who gave us permission to share this short film (that he Produced) that tells the story of how Jackson Mubiru started the Uganda Skateboard Union. It has blown up over the past few years and has changed the lives of youth throughout Uganda. Watch these kids tear it up and if you can help in anyway their contact information is at the end of the movie."

"It's amazing what's going on over there. And it just goes to show, skateboarding is as positive an influence as you make it. Skateboarding is creative, encourages community, tenacity, and is relatively cheap! I'm excited about what the Uganda Skateboard Union is doing, and to see where this goes!"

Bike Snob NYC Unmasked

After nearly 3 years, Eben Weiss, the infamous BikeSnobNYC has revealed his identity...

"Over his nearly three years of obsessing over, satirizing and deftly puncturing the sport of cycling, the anonymous blogger Bike Snob has made his worldview clear. He loves to ride his bike. He wants you to ride, too. Just maybe not on those florescent wheel rims. Or pedal against traffic. Or with your helmet on the handlebars. And even if it's not fashionable, he'd like you to consider using brakes.

Such style and safety points are well known to the readers who log on daily to the Bike Snob's sharp-edged and fetishistically detailed Web site: bikesnobnyc.blogspot.com. The site established the Snob as an acerbic sports blogger, earned him a monthly column in the prominent U.S. cycling magazine Bicycling and won him admirers like seven-time Tour de France champion Lance Armstrong."

And speaking of Bike-snobbery, check out this amazing footage of Danny McAskill in Chamonix, France...

Fakie nose-wheelies down a hill? REDICULOUS!!!
