Marc Newson's Ford 021C

Unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show in 1999, Marc Newson’s Ford 021C was designed with the young driver in mind. Young drivers under the age of 21, to be exact. Italian furniture manufacturer B+B was brought in to produce the seats, just one indicator of the amount of specialized thought that went into each aspect of the automobile.

Yatzer has posted a review of the car - 10 years on. Questions about why it was never produced are raised. Furthermore, the piece is a tidy recap of the design, and everything that went into Newson’s attempt.
